Job summary
VIP Tires & Service is seeking a Master Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicle systems, tires, and components. The technician must follow VIP safety policies, complete required training, and participate in the 5-for-5 Customer Engagement process.
The role requires at least one year of automotive service experience and often a two-year technical education. ASE certifications and state inspections are encouraged for career advancement within VIP’s service network.
Qualifications
- Read and interpret technical instructions and procedures.
- Diagnose and recommend automotive solutions.
- Explain vehicle information to customers clearly.
- Safely operate service equipment and perform maintenance.
- One year of related experience in automotive service field.
- ASE certifications and state inspections are encouraged.
Responsibilities
- Provide automotive systems diagnosis, repair, and maintenance services.
- Ensure safety policies are followed and equipment is used properly.
- Initiate and document Service Work Orders and track parts usage.
- Maintain shop cleanliness and perform required training and certifications.
- Contribute to 5-for-5 customer engagement process and quality standards.
