Job summary

VIP Tires & Service is seeking a Master Technician to diagnose and repair automotive systems, service tires, and perform maintenance in our Maine shop. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and adherence to VIP processes to deliver a differentiating customer experience.

The technician will aim for high productivity, maintain proper documentation, and participate in ongoing ASE and VIP training to uphold quality standards across the service team.

Qualifications

• One year of related experience in automotive service.
• Completion of a two-year college or technical program is recommended.
• Current, valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain automotive systems including ASE-covered areas.
• Follow safety policies, complete required training, and ensure proper work order documentation.
• Provide excellent customer communication and work with the service team to ensure first-time quality.
