Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years teaching massage therapy coursework in the sciences for massage therapy, hands-on lab classes, ethics, and psychological concepts classes.
• Minimum of 3 years working within student clinic settings.
• Current North Carolina Massage and Bodywork Therapy License in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Teach lecture, laboratory, and clinical courses in the Massage Therapy Program.
• Develop engaging instruction using evidence-based methodologies.
• Maintain syllabi, lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments.
• Evaluate student performance using objective grading methods.
• Coordinate daily clinic operations and student clinic scheduling.
• Ensure clinic compliance with NC BMBT requirements, OSHA, HIPAA and college policies.
• Maintain regular office hours and provide tutoring/academic coaching.
• Assist in program accreditation and regulatory compliance activities.
