Job summary

Asheville-Buncombe Technical Community College seeks an Instructor for Clinical Massage to provide instruction that fulfills the requirements of the NC Board of Massage and Bodywork Therapy and the NC Community College System. This is a continuous posting; openings may exist and the posting remains open for 12 months.

Responsibilities include teaching clinical massage courses, maintaining safety and sanitation, and keeping student records.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a regionally accredited institution and three years of documented exceptional work experience as a licensed massage therapist.
• Current North Carolina State Board of Massage and Bodywork Therapy license in good standing.
• Experience teaching adults.
• Experience in clinical massage.
• Computer literacy, particularly in Word and Excel.

Salary: $31.00 per contact hour.
