Job summary

Absolute Hospice is expanding and seeking an experienced Massage Therapist, PRN, located in Zanesville, OH. The role involves providing medically prescribed massage therapy to improve comfort, wellness, and quality of life for patients in home health or hospice settings.

The therapist must be currently licensed, certified, or registered in the state, in good standing, with credentials from the NCBTMB and/or MBLEX, and have at least one year of clinical massage experience (two years preferred).

Qualifications

• A minimum of one year of clinical massage therapy experience; two years preferred.
• Experience in home health or hospice preferred.
• Currently licensed, state-certified, or registered as a massage therapist in the state and in good standing with the state board.
• Certification by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB) and/or Massage Therapy MBLEX.

Responsibilities

• Provide massage therapy services and ensure adherence to the Service Employment Agreement.
• Plan, organize, and deliver medically prescribed massage therapy to create a caring, safe environment and improve patient wellness.
• Maintain licensure and comply with state board requirements.

Absolute Hospice is expanding and seeking an experienced Massage Therapist

The Hospice Massage Therapist contracted or employed through the organization is responsible for providing massage therapy services and for adherence to all conditions outlined in the Service Employment Agreement.

The Massage Therapist is responsible to plan, organize, and provide medically prescribed massage therapy that creates a caring and safe environment, addresses the comfort needs of patients, and positively impacts the patients health status, feeling of wellness, and/or quality of life.
Currently licensed, state certified, or registered or licensed as a massage therapist in the state and in good standing with the state board. Certification by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB) and/or Massage Bodywork Licensing Examination (MBLEX).

• A minimum of one year of clinical massage therapy experience; two years experience preferred. Experience in home health or hospice preferred.
