Job summary

Absolute Hospice, Inc. in North Canton, OH is seeking a Registered Nurse RN for Hospice care on a PRN basis. You will provide hands-on nursing care, coordinate plans, and educate patients and families in the comfort of home settings.

The ideal candidate holds an AS degree in Nursing, has at least 2 years of nursing experience (hospice/home health preferred), and can lift patients as needed. A valid driver's license and clean driving record are required.

Qualifications

• Caring, patient and flexible teacher with excellent communication and time management abilities
• Possess independent problem solving abilities, excellent clinical assessment skills
• Good physical shape and ability to lift/transfer patients
• Associate's of Science degree in Nursing
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience including hospice or home health preferred
• Valid driver's license and one year clean driving record
• Excellent writing, communication and charting skills

The Hospice RN establishes a professional and caring relationship with our patients and families, support staff, physicians, discharge planners, social workers, facilities and other health care professionals by providing hands-on-care, on-going clinical management and education regarding hospice care.

As a Hospice RN, you will educate patients and their caregivers on their conditions and the steps needed to ensure proper recovery.
