Job summary

Chatham Bars Inn in Chatham, Massachusetts is seeking a skilled Massage Therapist to perform body treatments and maintain inventories related to services. The work environment prioritizes guest satisfaction and requires the ability to stand for extended periods and lift weights up to 50 lbs.

Description

Responsible for performing spa body treatments as set forth on our menu of services relative to body and massage therapies. Responsible for maintaining all inventories related to the accomplishment of all massage and body therapies, inclusive of products and equipment. The work environment is fast paced, where guest satisfaction is a primary objective, and you will be working in an environment where guests are disrobing for services.

Requirements

• Individual must possess proficient massage therapist/body work skills, and be willing & able to learn more
• Must possess the ability to interpret documents such as memos, safety rules and policy & procedure manuals
• Must understand and adhere to Forbes Standards
• Requires a flexible schedule based on business, client, and staffing demands
• At least one weekend day is required
• Schedule requires a minimum of 32 hours per week
• Minimum of 1 year’s experience as Massage Therapist/Body Worker
• Current Massage Licensure necessary
• National Certification appreciated
• Guest service experience necessary
• Must be able to stand for a minimum of 6 hours a day
• Must be able to push, pull, tug, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs. in the preparation of all treatments and training for treatments

Compensation

$6.75 / hr + tips

Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location. This may differ in other locations due to cost of labor considerations.
