YMCA of Northern Colorado is seeking a Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. You will provide massage therapy to members, develop treatment plans, and advise on stress and pain management in a safe, supportive environment.

Minimum 21 years old with a Colorado massage license and CPR/AED/BBP certification within 30 days of hire. The role emphasizes safety, records, and adherence to YMCA policies in a dynamic wellness setting.

Responsibilities

  • Perform Massage Therapy for YMCA members.
  • Develop and propose client treatment plans specifying massage types.
  • Consult with clients about medical histories and stress/pain to determine massage suitability.
  • Develop positive relationships with participants and provide motivational support.
  • Increase participant awareness of healthy lifestyle factors.
  • Ensure care and maintenance of facilities and equipment with safety focus.
  • Maintain accurate records of massages performed.
  • Attend staff meetings and trainings as required.
  • Follow YMCA policies and procedures and emergency procedures.
  • Contribute to mission and core values in communication with participants and co-workers.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
