Job summary

Omni Nashville Hotel is seeking an experienced Massage Therapist to join the Mokara Spa team. You will deliver high-quality massage services, maintain pristine treatment rooms, and uphold Omni standards while ensuring guest satisfaction in a luxury environment.

This role requires at least 1 year in massage therapy, Tennessee licensure, and the ability to work diverse shifts including weekends, evenings, and holidays. Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-year experience in massage therapy, preferably in upscale spa.
• Current State of Tennessee Massage Therapist License.
• Proficient skills in traditional and modern forms of massage.
• Good verbal/written communication skills.
• Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Maintain a professional business appearance and demeanor.
• Ability to work under pressure in a high-volume 4-diamond environment.
• Ability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends, evenings and holidays.
• Able to obtain Tennessee Alcoholic Beverage Commission server permit before hire.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of Mokara Spa therapy team to provide high-standard treatments.
• Clean, sanitize, and set up treatment rooms according to procedures.
• Maintain sanitation of work area and equipment per state guidelines.
• Ensure stock usage aligns with PAR levels to reduce waste.
• Begin and end treatments on time and follow all procedures.
• Provide guests with a completed prescription form after each service.
• Aim to achieve at least 10% in retail sales daily, weekly, and monthly.

The Massage Therapist is responsible for guest satisfaction in the spa by performing services to the best of their ability and maintaining Omni standards throughout all procedures.

Responsibilities:

• To work as part of the Mokara Spa therapy team to consistently provide the highest possible standard treatment, creating a sensory journey for guests helping them to rest, relax and regain a sense of balance of harmony in their lives.
• Responsible for cleaning, sanitizing, and setting up the treatment rooms according to procedures.
• Maintain sanitation of work area and equipment as required by state board guidelines.
• Ensure all professional stock is being used in compliance with the PAR levels to assist with reduction in product waste.
• Begin and end treatments at the published time, and ensure correct procedures of all treatments are always being followed.
• Ensure all guests depart with a completed prescription form after every service.
• Strive to consistently produce a minimum of 10% in retail sales daily, weekly, and monthly.

• Ability to work well under pressure, managing back to back appointments in a high volume 4 diamond environment.
• Must be able to work a variety of shifts, including being on call for weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• Responsible and dependable with ability to fulfill on-call scheduling needs.
• Ability to obtain a State of Tennessee Alcoholic Beverage Commission server permit before date of hire.
