Massage Therapist - Physical Therapy Department working at Providence St. Luke's Rehabilitation Medical Center in Spokane, WA,


Shift Details: On-call, Day shift


Under general direction from the Rehabilitation Services Manager, Massage Therapists treat clients by using touch to manipulate the soft-tissue muscles of the body. With their touch, therapists relieve pain, help rehabilitate injuries, improve circulation, relieve stress, increase relaxation, aid in the general wellness of clients and actively participating as a member of the health care team. All employees are expected to be pleasant, respectful and courteous in all interactions with patients, families, staff, and visitors of the Institute, as well as being a positive representative of the hospital at all times.

Required Qualifications:



  • Coursework/Training: Graduate of an accredited school of Massage Therapy.

  • Upon hire: Washington Licensed Massage Therapist

  • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association

  • 2 years Massage therapy experience.


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Upon hire: Certified in manual therapy, strain counter strain, myofascial release

  • Experienced in working with acute injuries or the injured workers population.
