You’re a compassionate therapist who shares our ambitious mission to transform behavioral health care. You want to make a difference and spend more time with patients than paperwork. You appreciate a collaborative environment with support from coaches and clinical supervisors. You aim to help participants focus on actionable skills and build healthy, lifelong habits through structured, evidence-based protocols.

  • 1099 Contracts Available!
  • Manage a caseload of at least 10 participants in treatment
  • Required: 10 hours per week within 9 am - 8 pm local time. The hours can be completed during weekdays or weekends, but once a schedule is chosen, it must remain consistent.
  • $40-$60 per session hour (dependent on state of residence)

You’ll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S., but you MUST be licensed in Washington.

Position Highlights & Primary Responsibilities
  • Deliver remote care through outcome-based, short-term treatment programs lasting 8 to 20 sessions
  • Monitor participant progress, provide follow-up, care coordination, and document session notes
  • Participate as a member of the care team, assist participants in accessing resources, and handle consent and authorization forms
  • Identify and respond to high-risk encounters following company protocols
  • Attend regular meetings with supervisors, monthly team meetings, and Town Halls
  • Maintain confidentiality per HIPAA policies and complete annual training requirements

Required Qualifications
  • Active, unrestricted clinical license in Washington (e.g., LICSW, LPC, LMHC, or equivalent)
  • Ability to maintain a consistent schedule of at least 10 hours/week
  • Eligibility to enroll or opt-out of Medicare as a provider (if applicable)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with psychotherapy approaches such as CBT, DBT, or solution-focused therapy
  • Willingness to obtain licensure in other states
  • Passion for impacting lives and advancing behavioral care

The hourly rate ranges from $28.61 to $56.06, based on full-time equivalency, local market, experience, and certifications. UnitedHealth Group offers comprehensive benefits, incentives, stock purchase options, and 401(k).
