Job summary

Windham Mountain Club is seeking a Massage Therapist for its spa. This in-person, part-time hourly role requires providing high-quality massages to Windham Mountain Club members, utilizing diverse modalities, and maintaining a professional environment.

Qualifications

• Certification from an accredited massage therapy program.
• Valid NY state massage therapy license or permit.
• Minimum of 2 years of massage therapy experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and massage techniques.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to maintain a calm and positive demeanor in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to adapt to individual guest needs.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of massage modalities, including Swedish, Deep Tissue, Hot Stone and Prenatal.
• Provide high-quality massages following Spa protocols.
• Assess guests’ needs and preferences through consultation and observation.
• Develop and recommend personalized treatment plans.
• Maintain a clean and organized treatment area and sanitize equipment.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate guest records and treatment notes after each session.
• Inform clients about additional wellness services and products.
• Uphold professionalism, confidentiality, ethics, and teamwork.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Work Location: In-person role based in Windham, NY.

This is a Part Time Year Round Hourly Position

Pay: 40 per hour plus tips

Anticipated Start Dates: The Beginning of November

Schedule: May require working early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Conditions: Must be able to get to and from work in all weather conditions. This is an indoor position.

Overview of Position: Massage Therapist for The Spa at Windham Mountain Club will provide a high-quality massages to Windham Mountain Club members utilizing different massage modalities and work to create a healthy, stress-free environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of massage modalities, including Swedish, Deep tissue, Hot Stone and Prenatal.
• Provide a high-quality massage to the club members following Spa protocols.
• Assess guests’ individual needs and preferences through consultation and observation
• Develop and recommend personalized treatment plans to address members’ specific concerns and goals
• Maintain a clean and organized treatment area, ensuring all equipment and supplies are sanitized and well-stocked
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations and protocols
• Maintain accurate guest records and update treatment notes after each session
• Provide clients with information about additional wellness services and products
• Uphold the highest standards of professionalism, confidentiality, ethical conduct, and teamwork.
• Perform other relevant duties as assigned
