The role supports a part-time, year-round schedule with potential early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Certification and a NY state license are required, with a focus on client-specific wellness and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Certification from an accredited massage therapy program.
• Valid NY state massage therapy license or permit.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a massage therapist.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and massage techniques.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to maintain a calm and positive demeanor in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to adapt to guest needs.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of massage modalities, including Swedish, Deep Tissue, Hot Stone, and Prenatal.
• Provide high-quality massages to club members following Spa protocols.
• Assess guests' individual needs and preferences through consultation and observation.
• Develop and recommend personalized treatment plans to address members' specific concerns and goals.
• Maintain a clean and organized treatment area, ensuring all equipment and supplies are sanitized and well-stocked.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations and protocols.
• Maintain accurate guest records and update treatment notes after each session.
• Provide clients with information about additional wellness services and products.
• Uphold the highest standards of professionalism, confidentiality, ethical conduct, and teamwork.
• Perform other relevant duties as assigned.

The Massage Therapist for The Spa at Windham Mountain Club will provide high-quality massages to Windham Mountain Club members utilizing different massage modalities and work to create a healthy, stress-free environment.
