Job summary

Olympia Hospitality is seeking a skilled spa therapist to provide professional massages using Swedish, aromatherapy, deep tissue and other techniques, plus body treatments and in-room service.

You will assess guest needs, apply proper therapies, and maintain strong sanitation and draping standards while contributing to a supportive, wellness‑driven team environment. Minimum two years massage experience required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a spa, physician’s office or professional massage clinic.
• Knowledge of physiology and anatomy and ability to assess guests’ physical needs.
• Proficient in multiple body work techniques and modalities.
• Understanding of proper draping techniques and guest safety.
• Ability to stand for six to eight hours daily.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional massages with various techniques (swedish, aromatherapy, deep tissue, etc.).
• Perform spa body treatments and in‑room guest services.
• Assess guest needs and apply appropriate therapy methods.
• Maintain proper draping and ensure guest safety and comfort.

The spa therapist's primary responsibility is to provide professional massages with a variety of techniques such as: Swedish, aromatherapy, sports massage, reflexology, deep tissue, stone massage, etc. To perform spa body treatments such as: scrubs, wraps, couple’s treatments, bath preparation and to provide guest in room service.

Skills Required

Previous experience in a spa, physician’s office or professional massage clinic. Must have knowledge of physiology and anatomy, and be proficient in various body work techniques and modalities. Ability to assess guests’ physical needs and knowledge of proper therapy methods and contraindications to insure that no harm comes to guest. Practical knowledge of proper “draping” techniques. Must possess the physical strength required to perform massage therapy and ability to stand six to eight hours daily.

Experience / Education

Minimum of two years massage/skin care experience
