Beacon Hill is seeking a highly organized Litigation Paralegal to support attorneys handling mass tort and complex civil litigation in Chicago. The role spans intake through resolution, coordinating with clients, experts, and co-counsel to advance significant matters efficiently.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of experience, strong written and verbal communication, and excellent organizational skills to manage large volumes of cases, meet deadlines, and maintain accurate records in case

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of litigation paralegal experience.
• Experience supporting complex civil litigation matters.
• Solid understanding of litigation procedures and filing.
• Ability to manage multiple active matters simultaneously.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal technology platforms.

Responsibilities

• Support attorneys through all phases of litigation, including discovery, case management, settlement, and trial prep.
• Maintain a high-volume caseload with accurate, current records.
• Draft and prepare litigation documents, correspondence, requests, and subpoenas.
• Coordinate collection and tracking of case-related records.
• Monitor court deadlines and filing requirements.
• Prepare case summaries, chronologies, and damages materials.
• Assist with depositions, mediations, and trial preparation.
• Communicate with clients about case updates and next steps.
• Coordinate with experts, medical providers, vendors, and co-counsel.
• Maintain data integrity in case management systems.
• Participate in reporting, quality control, and special projects.
• Collaborate with attorneys to ensure efficient progression.
