BCG Attorney Search is seeking a Mass Tort Litigation Attorney in Chicago, IL. The attorney will manage pleadings, discovery, and trial preparation, collaborating with paralegals and case managers to meet court orders and firm standards.

Duties include developing litigation strategy, filing pleadings, monitoring procedures, supervising others, and supporting settlement efforts. The role requires strong organization, detailed legal drafting, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• JD required and active bar admission in at least one U.S. state.
• Strong organizational and analytical abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with complex litigation preferred.
• Mentoring or supervising experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute litigation strategy for mass tort matters.
• Draft and file pleadings and substantive motions.
• Ensure compliance with case management and scheduling orders.
• Monitor and implement developments in coordinated proceedings.
• Provide direction to paralegals and case managers on litigation tasks.
• Identify and develop liability and damages proof.
• Assess and recommend appropriate venue and jurisdiction for filing.
• Support settlement and resolution efforts.
