Job summary

BCG Attorney Search is seeking a Mass Tort Litigation Attorney to join its Raleigh, NC team. The attorney will manage litigation tasks including drafting pleadings, managing discovery, and supporting trial preparation.

The role offers opportunities for leadership in coordinated proceedings and collaboration across teams. The successful candidate will have JD and bar admission, strong organizational and analytical skills, and experience with complex litigation and litigation tech tools.

Qualifications

• JD required and admission to at least one U.S. state bar.
• Ability to draft pleadings and substantive motions with strong legal writing.
• Experience with complex litigation and MDL/coordinated proceedings is preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and litigation technology/tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement litigation strategy for mass tort matters.
• Draft, review, and file pleadings and substantive motions.
• Manage discovery and case scheduling to support trial preparation.
• Provide direction to paralegals and case managers on tasks.

Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Mass Tort Litigation Attorney to join their team in Raleigh, NC. The attorney will manage various litigation responsibilities, including drafting pleadings, managing discovery, and supporting trial preparation. This role offers opportunities for leadership positions in coordinated proceedings.

Duties

• Develop and execute litigation strategy for mass tort matters.
• Draft, review, and file pleadings and substantive motions.
• Ensure compliance with case management and scheduling orders.
• Monitor and implement developments in MDL/coordinated proceedings.
• Provide direction to paralegals and case managers on litigation tasks.
• Identify and develop liability and damages proof.
• Assess and recommend appropriate venue and jurisdiction for filing.
• Support settlement and resolution efforts.
