Job summary

Roche is seeking a Senior Field Applications Specialist – Mass Spectrometry for the West Coast (San Diego/ Los Angeles). You will serve as the scientific authority for the cobas i601 in customer labs, bridging analytical chemistry with automated testing, and enabling adoption of Roche’s advanced mass spectrometry solutions.

You will lead technical discussions, support pre-sales activities, and ensure regulatory compliance while delivering on-site training and troubleshooting to laboratory staff

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant scientific/tech discipline.
• 3+ years of experience implementing and evaluating complex laboratory, IT products, medical diagnostic equipment, reagents or systems.

Responsibilities

• Drive scientific adoption and market trust with clinical lab stakeholders.
• Lead pre-sales technical presentations and guide customers through transition to automated mass spectrometry.
• Guide labs through validation protocols to meet CLSI, CAP, CLIA, ISO requirements.
