Job summary

Roche seeks a Field Applications Specialist – Mass Spectrometry to deliver high-touch technical and scientific execution for the cobas i601 across customer laboratories in the region. You will lead post-sales implementations from installation through go-live, coordinating with senior colleagues on complex account rollouts.

The ideal candidate has 3 years of clinical lab experience and hands-on LC-MS/MS knowledge, with strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in biology, chemistry, cell biology, or biochemistry.
3 years of clinical lab experience or IT in a clinical lab environment.
Hands-on LC-MS/MS experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Post-Sales Technical Implementation: lead onboarding, setup, and assay implementation of cobas i601 systems in customer labs.
Account Collaboration: partner with Advanced Applications Specialist team on complex accounts and workflow builds.
Method Validation & Compliance: guide labs through CLSI, CAP, CLIA validation and generate data for regulatory compliance.
On-Site Troubleshooting: provide on-site technical support, conduct root-cause analysis to minimize downtime.
Account management: maintain relationships with bench techs, supervisors, and lab managers, ensuring ongoing system utilization.
