You will improve existing assays, organize validation data, and prepare publications while presenting findings to peers.

Ideal candidates will have strong analytical skills, excellent written and verbal communication, and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in clinical laboratory science or related field with 2 years of relevant lab experience
• Bachelor's degree plus MLS certificate with 2 years of experience
• HEW certificate may substitute for the degree
• Other clinical lab specialty certificates reviewed case-by-case

Responsibilities

• Develop, innovate, evaluate and implement novel tests or methods under guidance
• Improve existing methods and organize validation data
• Prepare data for publication and peer review and participate in presentations
• Complete 2-year tenure before applying to other Mayo Clinic positions
• Project work may include intermittent remote work as projects allow
• No visa sponsorship for this role
