KCAS Bio, a fast-growing CRO in Kansas City, MO, seeks a Scientist III to lead bioanalytical studies with LC-MS/MS, oversee method development, and mentor junior staff. You will own significant study components from setup through reporting while ensuring GLP/GxP compliance.

Ideal candidates have 4–6 years of LC-MS/MS and bioanalytical experience, strong data interpretation skills, and a drive to innovate within a collaborative, fast-paced team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Chemistry, Biochemistry or related field with 4–6 years of LC-MS/MS experience.
• Strong bioanalytical sample prep, quantitative LC-MS/MS, and multi-dimensional chromatography experience.
• Experience with method development, qualification and complex troubleshooting.
• Experience with proteins/peptides and small molecule biomarkers preferred.
• Experience in a regulated GLP/GxP environment.

Responsabilités

• Execute study components: sample prep, LC-MS/MS analysis, troubleshooting, data analysis, and documentation.
• Contribute to method development, qualification, and optimization efforts.
• Troubleshoot complex issues and propose solutions.
• Analyze and interpret data with minimal oversight.
• Prepare data summaries and assist report generation.
• Ensure study activities comply with protocol, SOPs, and regulatory requirements.
• Communicate progress to senior scientists and management.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff.
