Job summary

KCAS Bio in Kansas City seeks a Scientist to join the Mass Spec Bioanalysis Development group, applying bioanalytical and scientific principles to support study execution and development activities under supervision.

You will execute LC-MS/MS analyses, assist method development, process data, and maintain compliant documentation while contributing to a team focused on quality and scientific advancement at KCAS Bio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s in chemistry, biochemistry or chemical/biochemical engineering with 2+ years of LC-MS/MS experience.
• Exposure to bioanalytical sample preparation and quantitative LC-MS/MS techniques.
• Basic understanding of chromatographic principles and mass spectrometry.
• Experience with small molecule analysis; exposure to proteins and peptides is a plus.
• Familiarity with laboratory documentation and regulated environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute portions of studies including sample preparation and LC-MS/MS analysis under supervision (Mass Spec Bioanalysis Development).
• Support method development and qualification activities following established protocols.
• Perform routine data processing and assist in data summaries.
