Job summary

Tiello is partnering with a premier commercial masonry contractor in the Fort Lauderdale area to hire a Masonry Project Manager (Stone Veneer Specialty). The role leads client and field teams, shapes safety culture, and makes GC-level decisions on cost and schedule for complex stone veneer projects.

Projects range from education to healthcare and mixed-use sectors, typically $1M–$30M. You will oversee stone veneer work, manage schedules and budgets, develop safety plans with superintendents, and

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of commercial construction experience.
• Familiarity with masonry construction, stone veneer.
• Strong communication with clients, subs, and design teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee stone veneer masonry projects.
• Direct project schedules and budgets for successful completion.
• Set up job procedures to ensure timely buyout, shop drawing approval, material delivery.
• Maintain relationships with Owner, Architect, and Subcontractors.
• Provide value-engineered solutions when applicable.
• Develop safety plans with Superintendents and implement safety procedures.
• Manage project deliverables.
• Mentor project staff to foster a positive team.

Compensation: $95,000 - $120,000/year

Role Summary:

The Project Manager will serve as the company's point of contact both with the client and with the construction team when required. You will engage in and influence the safety culture and have the authority to make decisions on the General Contractor's behalf about such items as cost and schedule.

Project Types:

Commercial Masonry Projects - Education, Healthcare, Institutional, Mixed-Use, and Commercial Developments ($1M - $30M)

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee stone veneer masonry projects
• Oversee & Direct the project schedules and budgets for successful completion of each project.
• Set up and implement job procedures and techniques to assure timely buyout, shop drawing approval, and material delivery.
• Oversee and Develop and maintain a good relationship with Owner, Architect, and Subcontractors
• Provide the client with value-engineered solutions when applicable.
• Work with Superintendents to develop safety plans and to implement safety procedures
• Manage project deliverables
• Oversee and mentor the project staff to foster a positive team setting

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Minimum 5+ years of commercial construction
• Exposure to/familiarity with masonry construction with a specialty in dimensional stone
• BS in Construction Management or Civil Engineering is preferred NOT required.
• Strong communication skills with clients, subcontractors, and design consultants.
