Keller Brothers, Inc. is seeking a Jr. Estimator to work under the Masonry Estimator, delivering timely budget estimates and value engineering input for projects in a collaborative team environment.

You will complete conceptual cost plans, prepare quantity surveys, evaluate pricing, compare bids, and assist in vendor sourcing to ensure competitive masonry estimates and project success.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in construction industry or project management is preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with computers and software such as Microsoft Office and Bluebeam.

Responsibilities

• Measure and quantify materials and labor for projects.
• Review bid documents for accuracy and compliance with addenda.
• Maintain bid file records and relevant documents.
• Develop quantity takeoffs and cost estimates for masonry activities.
• Build relationships with subcontractors, vendors, and general contractors.
• Attend pre-bid meetings and participate in bid development and negotiations.
