Qualifications

• 0-2 years of estimating, project engineering, or related experience with a commercial general contractor or subcontractor.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with ability to manage deadlines across multiple bids.

Responsibilities

• Serve as lead estimator on small projects and assigned trade packages from document review through bid-day pricing.
• Determine scope boundaries and inclusions/exclusions for owned packages; prepare scope sheets for bidders.
• Level subcontractor proposals, resolve scope gaps, and select pricing for the bid.
• Perform quantity takeoffs for assigned trades using takeoff tools and historical data; review larger bids with lead Estimator.
