Job summary

Passion Masonry LLC in North Charleston, SC is seeking a skilled Masonry & Concrete Estimator to join our growing team. You will deliver accurate, competitive bids for residential and commercial projects, reviewing plans and specs to produce clear takeoffs.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in masonry or concrete estimating, strong math, and proficiency with PlanSwift, QuickBooks Online, and Microsoft Office. Excellent communication and organization are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in masonry, concrete, or construction estimating.
• Strong knowledge of masonry and concrete materials, methods, and installation techniques.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction blueprints and specifications.
• Experience with estimating software (PlanSwift) and/or Microsoft Office Suite.
• QuickBooks Online experience preferred.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills with high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for masonry and concrete projects including materials, labor, and equipment.
• Review blueprints, specifications, and project scopes to develop accurate takeoffs.
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier bids to ensure competitive pricing.
• Collaborate with project managers and field crews to align estimates with real-world conditions.
• Track and analyze bid results to continuously improve estimating accuracy.
• Maintain organized records of bids, proposals, and project documentation.
• Identify potential project risks and incorporate appropriate contingencies into estimates.
