Job summary

Tiello is partnering with a well-established commercial masonry contractor seeking an APM/Project Manager in Nashville, TN. You will serve as the primary point of contact with the client and the construction team, ensuring alignment on scope, schedule, and budget.

You will influence safety culture, approve decisions on behalf of the General Contractor, and collaborate with Owners, Architects, and Subcontractors on Education, Healthcare, Institutional, and Mixed-Use masonry projects ranging from

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of commercial construction experience.
• Exposure to masonry/concrete construction.
• BS in Construction Management or Civil Engineering is preferred, not required.
• Strong communication skills with clients, subcontractors, and design consultants.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and direct project schedules and budgets for successful completion.
• Set up and implement procedures to ensure timely buyout, shop drawing approval, and material delivery.
• Maintain a good relationship with Owner, Architect, and Subcontractors.
• Provide the client with value-engineered solutions when applicable.
• Work with Superintendents to develop safety plans and to implement safety procedures.
• Manage project deliverables.
• Oversee and mentor the project staff to foster a positive team setting

Role Summary:

TheAPM/Project Manager will serve as the company’s point of contact both with the client and with the construction team when required. You will engage in and influence the safety culture and have the authority to make decisions on the General Contractor’s behalf about such items as cost and schedule.

Project Type:

Commercial Masonry Projects – Education, Healthcare, Institutional, Mixed-Use, and Commercial Developments ($4M – $30M)

Job Responsibilities:
