Job summary

Tiello is partnering with a leading Commercial Masonry Contractor in the Tampa, FL area to fill the Sr. Project Manager position for Commercial Masonry Construction projects exceeding $20MM.

The role is the primary point of contact with clients and the construction team, with authority to make decisions on cost and schedule and to influence safety culture. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of commercial masonry construction experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency with Procore,

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of commercial masonry construction experience.
• Experience in masonry estimating and project management preferred.
• BS in Construction Management or Civil Engineering is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee & direct project schedules and budgets for successful completion.
• Set up and implement job procedures to assure timely buyout, shop drawing approval, and material delivery.
• Develop and maintain relationships with Owner, Architect, and General Contractors.
• Provide value-engineered solutions when applicable.
• Work with Superintendents to develop safety plans and implement safety procedures.
• Mentor project staff to foster a positive team setting.

Job description

Tiello has partnered with one of the nation's leading Commercial Masonry Contractors in the Tampa, FL area on their search for a Sr. Project Manager for Commercial Masonry Construction projects exceeding $20MM.

The Sr. Project Manager will serve as the company's point of contact both with the client and with the construction team when required. You will engage in and influence the safety culture and have the authority to make decisions on the Contractor's behalf about such items as cost and schedule.

Title: Sr. Project Manager - Commercial Masonry Construction (5+ years)

Duties & Responsibilities

• Oversee & Direct the project schedules and budgets for successful completion of each project.
• Set up and implement job procedures and techniques to assure timely buyout, shop drawing approval, and material delivery.
• Oversee and Develop and maintain a good relationship with Owner, Architect, and General Contractors
• Provide the client with value-engineered solutions when applicable.
• Work with Superintendents to develop safety plans and to implement safety procedures
• Oversee and mentor the project staff to foster a positive team setting

Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of commercial masonry construction experience
• Experience in both masonry estimating and project management is preferred
• BS in Construction Management or Civil Engineering is preferred
• Strong communication skills with clients, general contractors, and design consultants
• Software experience including Procore, Bluebeam, and MS Office (including Excel) is required.
• Significant attention to detail is required
