Antwerpen Clarksville Autopark in Clarksville, MD is seeking a detail-oriented Maryland State Inspector Technician to join our service team. You will conduct state inspections, document results, and explain findings to customers while coordinating with the service staff to recommend necessary repairs. A valid MD Inspector certification and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

Must hold valid Maryland State Inspector Technician certification/license.
Experience conducting vehicle inspections or in automotive service.
Strong knowledge of vehicle mechanical systems and safety standards.

Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

Perform state-mandated vehicle inspections per Maryland DOT.
Inspect safety equipment, emissions, brakes, tires, lights, and related systems.
Document inspection results and issue certificates when appropriate.
Communicate findings to customers and recommend repairs.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the inspection area and tools.
Stay current with Maryland inspection procedures and safety standards.
Ensure compliance with safety protocols during inspections.
