Antwerpen Clarksville Autopark in Clarksville, MD is seeking a Maryland State Inspector Technician to perform state inspections ensuring vehicles meet safety and emissions standards. You will work with the service team to provide accurate evaluations and help customers understand results.

Qualifications

• Must hold Maryland State Inspector Technician certification/license.
• Experience performing vehicle inspections or in automotive service.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle systems and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform state-mandated vehicle inspections per Maryland DOT rules.
• Inspect safety equipment, emissions, brakes, tires, and components.
• Document results and issue inspection certificates when appropriate.
• Explain findings to customers and suggest repairs or maintenance.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the inspection area.
• Stay updated on Maryland inspection procedures and safety standards.
• Ensure compliance with all safety protocols during inspections.
