Friedman Vartolo LLP seeks an experienced Foreclosure Paralegal to manage Maryland foreclosure matters from pre-filing to post-sale. The role requires deep knowledge of Maryland foreclosure statutes, court rules, and recording requirements, with ability to meet deadlines and resolve complex issues.

You will review titles, prepare complaints, manage dockets, coordinate service of process, and assist with post-sale documentation while maintaining accurate case records and reporting to clients and

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-year Maryland foreclosure experience.
• Broad knowledge of Real Estate Default Services.
• Experience with LPS, Caseaware, Tempo is a plus.
• Strong organizational, research, and writing skills.
• Detail oriented and deadline driven.
• Independent worker who can handle heavy workload.
• Confident on the phone and works well under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Conduct title review and analyze ownership interests, liens, and encumbrances.
• Review loan documents to ensure chain of title continuity.
• Prepare, draft, and file foreclosure complaints and related pleadings; manage eFiling and docketing.
• Manage court dockets and progression from filing to sale.
• Coordinate service of process; file affidavits and related documents.
• Coordinate foreclosure sales including scheduling and communications.
• Prepare post-sale deeds and recording; address post-sale issues.
• Maintain accurate case records and provide status updates.
