Job summary

Friedman Vartolo LLP in Baltimore, MD seeks an experienced Foreclosure Attorney to join our growing real estate practice. You will draft motions, appear in court, and coordinate with clients, investors, and opposing parties while managing a fast-paced caseload.

Ideal candidates have Maryland foreclosure experience, a JD, admission to the Maryland bar, strong writing and leadership skills, and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience handling foreclosure matters in Maryland.
• JD from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to practice in Maryland.
• Experience with mortgage foreclosure law, secured transactions, FDCPA, state and federal consumer protection laws, and general commercial litigation preferred.
• Strong legal analysis, writing and editing abilities.
• Outstanding organizational and interpersonal communication skills; ability to work in a team.
• Leadership qualities and ability to manage support staff; independent worker.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage a foreclosure caseload from start to finish.
• Maintain ongoing communication with clients, investors, and adversaries for timely progress and resolution.
• Build and maintain relationships with court personnel to manage timelines, filings, and procedural requirements.
• Oversee and mentor support staff on legal documentation and client communication.
