Job summary

Language Services Associates, a US-based telephonic interpreting company, seeks qualified Marshallese–English interpreters to join our network of independently contracted interpreters. You will provide effective telephonic remote interpreting, respond promptly to inbound calls, and uphold strict confidentiality and professional conduct.

Candidates with 1+ years of interpreting experience and industry certifications are preferred; a quiet, secure workspace is required.

Qualifications

• Full fluency in both English and Marshallese.
• Technology proficient (web-based platforms, email, Microsoft Word).
• An interpreting space that is quiet, secure, and free from outside noises.
• 1+ years of professional interpreting experience preferred.
• Industry specific certifications/trainings preferred (CMI, CCHI, Bridging the Gap, Cross-Cultural, etc.)

Overview

As a US based telephonic interpreter for Marshallese in LSA’s network of Independently Contracted Interpreters, you are responsible for handling telephone calls on demand and facilitating language communication for the Limited English Proficient (LEP) community in a variety of settings. Language Services Associates is continuously accepting qualified interpreters!
