Job summary

Clgt Solutions, Llc is looking for qualified on-site Marshallese interpreters to provide in-person interpretation services across the Hawaiian Islands. This independent contractor position entails working with clients from various sectors, ensuring accurate communication and understanding during interactions with LEP clients.

Successful candidates should possess strong English and Marshallese language skills, with a preference for experience in government, healthcare, or legal settings. This role requires frequent travel across the islands and flexibility in scheduling, as assignments are on an as-needed basis.

Qualifications

• Must have working proficiency (ILR 2+) in English and target language.
• Demonstrated ability to interpret accurately in a professional or social services environment.
• Prior experience in government, healthcare, legal, or social services settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate in-person interpretation between client staff and LEP clients.
• Interpret in the first person without editing or omitting information.
• Serve as a communication liaison ensuring mutual understanding.

Skills
