Position: Area Sales Manager OEM

Location: Chicago, IL

Salary Range: $65,000 - $70,000 per year (pay range provided by Aimbridge Hospitality; actual pay based on skills and experience)

Role Overview

The Area Sales Manager is responsible for achieving sales goals across 2-10 hotels by soliciting and securing new accounts. They will collaborate with hotel leadership to meet revenue and market share targets, focusing on segments like Leisure, Business Travel, and Groups. The role requires working as much as necessary, including overtime for OEM associates.

Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent; 2+ years hotel sales experience preferred
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with professional selling techniques
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks independently with strong organizational skills
Responsibilities
  • Achieve sales and revenue goals for assigned hotels
  • Conduct solicitation calls, sales tours, and entertain clients
  • Develop and grow relationships with existing accounts
  • Monitor market trends within segments
