Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, invites married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. Couples reside in on-campus student homes and care for 8-13 students, supporting their academic, emotional, and social growth in a structured, family-like setting.

The role is nine days on, three days off initially, with potential placement into a single student home. Benefits include salary per person and comprehensive coverage; relocation assistance and paid training offered.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children in the home.
• Smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty.
• Valid U.S. driverérence license and ability to drive student vans.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; staff act as role models.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship to students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and monitor student wellness.
• Transport students to activities and engage in development and recreation.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
