Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA is hiring married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents, living in on-campus student homes and providing care, guidance, supervision and support for a group of 8–13 students.

The role includes daily supervision, managing routines, driving to activities, leading devotions and Sunday Chapel, budgeting, and reporting, with a nine days on / three days off schedule and a path to a Placed Houseparent in a dedicated home.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years.
• Both spouses aged 27 or older.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must have valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student vans.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty.
• Pet restrictions: fish and one dog of approved breeds.
• Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; MHS staff serve as role models.

Responsabilités

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship for students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and monitor student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and plan developmental and recreational events.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
