Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA seeks married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. Couples reside in on-campus homes, providing care, guidance, and oversight for 8-13 students, fostering academic, emotional, and social growth.

Initially, schedules are nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with progression to a placed houseparent role living with the same student group. Benefits include housing and meals on duty, plus training and relocation support.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Ability to lead daily devotions and participate in Sunday Chapel.
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol during duty.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship to students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and ensure student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and plan developmental/recreational activities.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
