Why Vectrona:

Vectrona is a mission-driven systems, technology, and operational solutions company built for people who want their work to matter. As proud Americans, we support national security missions that strengthen our institutions and help safeguard our nation’s security and prosperity. We challenge assumptions, seek out hard problems, and bring together people, processes, software, technology, training, and operational expertise to create solutions that simplify the complex and help others succeed. Our culture values integrity, ownership, personal leadership, sound judgment, teamwork, curiosity, and the willingness to step up when something important needs to get done.

Why This Work Matters:

The MARMC Program Manager / Maritime Customer Solutions Lead plays a dual role in supporting successful execution of Vectrona’s Mid-Atlantic Regional Maintenance Center contract while helping identify and develop solutions for Navy and commercial maritime customers.

This position combines hands-on program leadership with customer engagement and solution development. The person in this role will help ensure MARMC contract performance, workforce readiness, quality, and customer satisfaction while also working with maritime leaders to understand operational challenges and identify practical ways Vectrona’s services, processes, and technologies can improve performance.

The role is designed for someone who understands the maritime maintenance environment, takes ownership of outcomes, builds strong customer relationships, and can turn complex operational challenges into meaningful solutions.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
MARMC Program Management
  • Serve as Vectrona’s primary program management representative for the MARMC contract
  • Coordinate with government representatives, company leadership, employees, and subcontractors
  • Manage contract performance, staffing, quality, schedules, deliverables, reporting, and compliance
  • Lead contract transition, workforce onboarding, personnel readiness, and subcontractor coordination
  • Provide leadership and administrative support to assigned personnel
  • Monitor contract execution, identify risks, coordinate corrective actions, and elevate issues when needed
  • Coordinate with Vectrona leadership and corporate support functions to ensure effective program administration and performance
Maritime Customer Solutions
  • Identify operational, workforce, and technical challenges affecting Navy maintenance organizations, shipyards, ship repair companies, and other maritime customers
  • Build relationships with maritime leaders and industry stakeholders to better understand customer priorities and performance challenges
  • Work with Vectrona’s technical and operational teams to develop practical solutions integrating services, processes, and technologies, including ACE-XR and VoxC2
  • Support customer engagement plans, demonstrations, pilot projects, and solution proposals
  • Help develop and maintain a qualified pipeline of maritime customer opportunities
  • Evaluate customer needs, potential value, feasibility, and acquisition pathways
  • Coordinate customer engagement activities, opportunity assessments, and progress reporting with the Director of Customer Solutions
Required Education and Experience:
  • Demonstrated program management or leadership experience in Navy maintenance, ship repair, shipbuilding, or comparable maritime operations

  • Ability to work effectively across government, industry, operational, and technical teams
  • Ability to meet applicable citizenship, security clearance, and facility access requirements
Preferred Education and Qualifications:

  • PMP certification or comparable program management training
  • Active Secret clearance
  • Familiarity with workforce development, training systems, modeling and simulation, immersive technologies, or technology-enabled operational solutions
What Success Looks Like:

Success in this role means the MARMC contract is well led, properly staffed, compliant, and delivering strong performance for the customer. Employees and subcontractors have the leadership and support they need, risks are identified early, and issues are addressed with sound judgment and clear communication.

Success also means building trusted relationships across the maritime community, understanding meaningful customer challenges, and helping Vectrona develop practical solutions and qualified opportunities that create value.

The right person will bring ownership, strong maritime knowledge, customer focus, sound judgment, and the ability to balance contract performance with longer-term solution development.

The position reports to Vectrona’s Director of Services Solutions for MARMC program management, operational administration, and personnel matters.
