Job summary

Tommy Bahama is seeking a proactive leader to guide our front-of-house team in a fast-growing, island-inspired brand. You will drive sales, service excellence, and internal growth while partnering with restaurant leadership and corporate teams to uphold brand standards.

Responsibilities include staffing, payroll oversight, training program delivery, and ensuring safety and cleanliness across the dining area.

Qualifications

• Experience leading front-of-house teams in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Ability to manage payroll hours within budgeted payroll percentage.
• Strong collaboration with restaurant leadership and corporate partners.

• Create a learning environment for front-of-house team members to promote sales and service success and internal career growth.
• Maintain appropriate staff levels and manage payroll hours to budgeted payroll percentage.
• Facilitate implementation of learning programs and monitor performance to ensure on-the-job transfer of skills.
• Foster open, authentic dialogue with restaurant teams, regional and corporate partners.
• Ensure consistent execution of company policies and procedures.
• Develop and streamline restaurant processes in partnership with the Restaurant General Manager.
• Support safety programs for employees and guests, maintaining a clean, safe, professional environment.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Create a learning and nurturing environment for all front of the house restaurant team members that promotes sales and service success, and internal career growth.
• Maintain appropriate staff levels. Manage payroll hours to budgeted payroll percentage.
• Facilitate implementation of company learning/training programs, follow-up and monitor performance to ensure transfer of learned skills on-the-job.
• Cultivate an environment of open, authentic dialogue with the restaurant team, regional and corporate partners.
• Ensure consistent execution of Company policies and procedures.
• Develop/streamline restaurant processes in partnership with the Restaurant General Manager.
• Incorporate and administer applicable safety programs for the restaurant, employees, and guests. Help create a clean, safe, professional and upbeat environment

REQUIREMENTS

• Lift and/or move up to approximately 50 pounds frequently
• Bending/stooping/kneeling required – frequently
• Routine standing for duration of shift
• Safely Maneuvering the following types of equipment or machinery: Hand cart, blenders, knives, slices, wine keys and other tools provided to complete work
• Scheduled shifts determined by business needs
