Job summary

Tommy Bahama is hiring for a leader to oversee front-of-house operations in Las Vegas. The role focuses on developing a learning culture, coaching staff, and driving sales and service excellence across the restaurant team.

The position emphasizes staffing, payroll management, training program facilitation, and collaboration with regional and corporate partners to uphold policy execution and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Lift and/or move up to 50 pounds frequently.
• Bending, stooping, and kneeling required – frequently.
• Routine standing for duration of shift.
• Ability to safely operate restaurant tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Create a learning environment for front-of-house staff that drives sales and service.
• Maintain appropriate staffing levels.
• Manage payroll hours to budgeted payroll percent.
• Support training programs and ensure skills transfer on the job.
• Foster open, authentic dialogue with restaurant teams and partners.
• Ensure consistent execution of company policies and procedures.
• Develop and streamline restaurant processes with the Restaurant GM.
• Implement safety programs for staff and guests.
• Contribute to a clean, safe, upbeat environment.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Create a learning and nurturing environment for all front of the house restaurant team members that promotes sales and service success, and internal career growth.
• Maintain appropriate staff levels.
• Manage payroll hours to budgeted payroll percentage.
• Facilitate implementation of company learning/training programs, follow-up and monitor performance to ensure transfer of learned skills on‑job.
• Cultivate an environment of open, authentic dialogue with the restaurant team, regional and corporate partners.
• Ensure consistent execution of Company policies and procedures.
• Develop/streamline restaurant processes in partnership with the Restaurant General Manager.
• Incorporate and administer applicable safety programs for the restaurant, employees, and guests.
• Help create a clean, safe, professional and upbeat environment.

REQUIREMENTS

• Lift and/or move up to approximately 50 pounds frequently
• Bending/stooping/kneeling required – frequently
• Routine standing for duration of shift
• Safely Maneuvering the following types of equipment or machinery: Hand cart, blenders, knives, slices, wine keys and other tools provided to complete work

Rate Range: $20.00 or minimum wage - $24.00/hr

Multiple factors will vary the applicable rate of pay for this role, including an individual’s experience, knowledge, and skillset, as well as work location and available budget.
