Job summary

Broward Center for the Performing Arts in Fort Lauderdale is seeking a Marketplace Attendant to support the Hospitality Department by delivering excellent customer service at the venue's marketplace retail location during events. You will stock, display, price, and rotate products, maintain inventory, assist guests with purchases using POS, and ensure food safety and clean working conditions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Experience in retail, concessions, hospitality, or customer service preferred.
• Ability to count inventory and perform FIFO procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, courteous service to guests and assist with product selection.
• Greet customers and help with purchases and inquiries.
• Set up displays, coolers, shelving, and merchandise presentations.
• Verify shelf and item pricing and product date labels.
• Conduct inventory counts before and after events and reconcile records.
• Operate point-of-sale systems and process transactions accurately.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas.
