Job summary

Close is seeking a Sr. Software Engineer, Marketing to own the Close.com marketing site. You will maintain, optimize, and instrument the site, collaborating with Marketing and Growth. The role requires a track record of building conversion-focused marketing sites using modern stacks and headless CMSs.

You’ll ensure fast performance, strong SEO, and reliable analytics. You’ll also empower marketing via automation and reusable tooling, bridging Marketing and Engineering across projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years building marketing websites with conversion focus.
• Experience with a modern stack (Astro) and a headless CMS (Sanity).
• Strong measurement and analytics skills with event tracking and optimization.

Responsibilities

• Build and continuously improve a world-class marketing website.
• Make the site fast and findable with performance and SEO focus.
• Manage the infrastructure behind the site (Sanity, components, deployments).
• Own measurement integrity and feed data to marketing/data systems.
• Build tools for Marketing self-service and site self-improvement.
• Bridge Marketing and Engineering to solve cross-functional problems.
