Job summary

Beacon Hill Staffing Group, LLC in Cedar Rapids is seeking a Marketing Strategy Consultant I to help create and deliver customer solutions through various marketing and communications channels. You will coordinate activities to engage employees and customers with the company brand.

You will collaborate with teams across the organization, support marketing activities, and help ensure timely, effective communications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Journalism, English, Communications, Marketing or related area.
• 2 years of technical or professional experience.
• Demonstrated effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to use computer software programs (e.g., email, word processing, spreadsheet and project management).
• Demonstrated experience working in a collaborative, cross functional team capacity to bring marketing ideas from concept to execution.
• Demonstrated experience with event management and sponsorships.
• Demonstrated understanding of short and long-term marketing plan development, budgeting and project scheduling.
• Ability to work in a diverse work environment.

• Ensures marketing and communications activities meet internal customers' timing and objectives.
• Consider potential impacts on other planned communications and assists with the identification of key stakeholders and subject matter experts.
• Applies various marketing strategies to successfully meet the expected response from the target audience.
• Participates in community events to enhance company reputation and brand.

Marketing Strategy Consultant I

Type: Contract Location: On-Site in Cedar Rapids Duration: 1 Year- 40 hours/week

JOB SUMMARY

Assists in the effective creation and delivery of customer solutions and products to employees and/or customers through various marketing and communications channels. Coordinates activities to assist in participation and engagement in products that supports the overall company brand.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Education Level Field of Study Required/Preferred Bachelor's Degree Journalism, English, Communications, Marketing or related area.


• Preferred Required Experience 2 years of technical or professional experience.


• Demonstrated effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.


• Demonstrated ability to use computer software programs (e.g., email, word processing, spreadsheet and project management) preferred.


• Demonstrated experience working in a collaborative, cross functional team capacity to bring marketing ideas from concept to execution.


• Demonstrated experience with event management and sponsorships.


• Demonstrated understanding of short and long-term marketing plan development, budgeting and project scheduling.
