Job summary

Navy Region Southeast Fleet and Family Readiness (FFR) is seeking a Marketing/Communications professional to assist in implementing a comprehensive marketing program for the MWR Department at NAS Pensacola. The role includes coordinating sponsorships, advertising, publications and special events to inform and engage military personnel, families and base partners.

The incumbent will support development of collateral, proposals, and reports, while ensuring compliance with Navy policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years marketing/sponsorship/advertising or events experience.
• Experience with web site design, graphic arts, social networking and other visual media.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, strong organizational abilities.
• Proficiency in common computer software programs.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, contracting, administering and evaluating the commercial sponsorship program.
• Develop sponsorship proposals and negotiate terms for MWR.
• Coordinate marketing publications and editorial work for the department.
• Support graphic design and web content for MWR sites.
• Oversee special events and promotional campaigns to maximize use of facilities.
