Job summary

Navy Region Mid-Atlantic Fleet and Family Readiness (FFR) is seeking staff to support the MWR Community Recreation program across a variety of activities, events and services. You will handle customer service, registrations, sales, inventory, and event setup to ensure quality recreational experiences for patrons on and off base.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or recreation activities.
• Ability to plan and manage events and programs.
• Strong written and oral communication.
• Knowledge of recreation operations and safety.

Responsibilities

• Provides customer service, information and support of Community Recreation programs and activities.
• Collects fees from customers for tickets, retail and rental items and classes.
• Is accountable for the accuracy of daily sales transactions and completes a Daily Activity Report (DAR).
• Assists in processing customer Internet registrations and event registrations.
• Checks equipment and resources in and out, collects rental fees, inventories items and completes inspections on return.
• Notifies supervisor of damage or loss and ensures forms are completed properly.
• Conducts inventory and maintains equipment for accountability.
• Assists in administering workshops, clinics and events related to leisure activities.
• Supports planning, marketing and execution of MWR programs and events.
• Develops partnerships to support MWR programs.
