Terpenebeltfarms is seeking a Marketing Specialist to lead strategy and execution for a dispensary business in Illinois. Marketing Specialist is responsible for leading the marketing strategy and execution for the dispensary business, driving brand awareness, customer engagement, and revenue growth. This role will oversee all aspects of marketing, including digital marketing, social media, content creation, customer loyalty programs, and in-store promotions, while ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. The Head of Marketing will collaborate with senior leadership and other departments to develop and execute marketing initiatives that align with the company’s goals and enhance the customer experience.
Develop and implement the overall marketing strategy to drive brand growth, customer engagement, and revenue. Collaborate with senior leadership to align marketing objectives with business goals and market trends.
Oversee the development and execution of the dispensary’s brand identity, ensuring consistency across all channels and touchpoints. Manage brand positioning, messaging, and creative direction.
Lead digital marketing efforts, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, content creation, and digital advertising. Optimize online presence to increase traffic, sales, and customer retention.
Oversee the company’s social media presence across various platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.), developing content and campaigns that engage with the community while adhering to state-specific regulations regarding cannabis advertising.
Develop and manage customer loyalty and retention programs to increase repeat business. Analyze customer data to create personalized marketing strategies that drive customer satisfaction and lifetime value.
Ensure the creation of engaging and informative content that resonates with target audiences. This includes blog posts, video content, email newsletters, product descriptions, and promotional materials.
Plan and execute in-store promotions, events, and product launches to drive foot traffic, increase sales, and enhance brand awareness. Ensure compliance with regulations regarding cannabis-related promotions and events.
Ensure all marketing materials, campaigns, and communications comply with local, state, and federal regulations regarding cannabis advertising and promotions. Stay informed on the latest regulatory changes that may affect marketing activities.
Conduct market research to understand customer needs, industry trends, and competitor activities. Analyze customer feedback, sales data, and campaign performance to make data-driven decisions and refine marketing strategies.
Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources across various channels. Track and report on the performance of marketing initiatives and adjust strategies to meet objectives.
Lead, mentor, and develop the marketing team, ensuring a high level of creativity, collaboration, and efficiency. Foster a positive and innovative work environment.
Work closely with the Sales, Operations, and Product teams to ensure marketing initiatives are aligned with the overall business strategy. Collaborate on product launches, inventory management, and customer experience efforts.
Build relationships with influencers, industry leaders, and brand partners to expand the company’s reach and promote collaboration. Negotiate and manage partnerships to enhance brand visibility and credibility.
Track, analyze, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for marketing campaigns. Provide regular updates to senior leadership on the effectiveness of marketing efforts and suggest improvements or adjustments.
Perform other related duties and responsibilities as required or assigned.
