Summary

The Marketing Associate to support day-to-day marketing operations and ensure marketing initiatives are executed efficiently across the organization. This role focuses on coordinating projects, maintaining marketing assets, supporting retail marketing efforts, assisting with content creation, assisting with digital marketing, and ensuring in-store marketing materials remain accurate and up to date. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, creative, and eager to learn. This position is ideal for an early-career marketing professional looking to gain hands-on experience within a fast-paced retail, entertainment, and cannabis environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Support daily marketing operations
  • Coordinate & support marketing projects, events, photoshoots, facility walk-throughs/tours
  • Process purchase orders and invoices
  • Maintain marketing calendars
  • Maintain social media scheduling
  • Maintain digital marketing scheduling
  • Organize marketing assets
  • Assist with vendor communications, partnerships, and outreach
  • Participate in & support community events & outreach
  • Maintain in-store and external marketing materials
  • Maintain digital signage & menu boards
  • Maintain point-of-sale displays & signage
  • Maintain promotional graphics
  • Coordinate with the design team to ensure all marketing assets are completed & accurate
  • Coordinate with the sales team to ensure that marketing campaigns are being carried out.
  • Operate on & off-site pop-ups & activations
  • Participate in capturing marketing & social media content
  • Maintain a weekly report to the Marketing Manager
  • Comply with all HR policies including confidentiality and non-disclosure.
  • Assist with the implementation of company policies, standard operating procedures, and performance standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Daily compliance with Company policies including but not limited to state/local regulation compliance, security protocols, access protocols, dress code, and work schedules.

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and regulations, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret graphs.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Computer Skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Canva, Photoshop, Alpine IQ, Figma, Monday.com, Slack, and various social media platforms.

OSHA 10 (Company paid after six months)
