Job Summary

This position supports sales representatives or account management personnel in prospecting, acquiring, or renewing business. Duties vary based on market and role support, and may include building relationships with customer representatives/brokers, researching and resolving customer issues, preparing and analyzing reports, leading enrollment meetings, gathering information for RFPs, and managing new accounts or renewals. Travel to customer sites may be required.

Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree and 1 year of experience in health insurance/health care in a service/sales/marketing role involving initiative and decision-making OR 5 years of experience in health care management in a marketing or service role OR 5 years of experience in sales/marketing or health care management/claims/provider services involving processing or coordination for health care clients.
  • State Insurance License(s) or ability to obtain within the required timeframe per state regulations.
  • Strong organizational and decision-making skills; excellent written and verbal communication skills, including telephone etiquette.
  • Ability to interact professionally with internal and external contacts.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in health insurance or health care.
