Marketing & Sales Associate

Pay:$20-25/hr
Location: Honolulu, Hawaii
Schedule: Full-Time, including weekends and a rotating schedule

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Marketing & Sales Associate for a full-time opportunity with a locally owned home improvement and flooring retailer. This unique hybrid role combines marketing, sales, customer service, and project coordination, making it ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, promoting products, and helping customers bring their home improvement projects to life.

The Marketing & Sales Associate will help drive brand awareness through marketing initiatives while also assisting customers with product selection, estimates, orders, and project coordination. The ideal candidate is creative, organized, sales-minded, and passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing

• Assist with the development and execution of marketing campaigns and promotional initiatives
• Support social media, email marketing, website updates, and advertising efforts
• Help organize community events, trade shows, and outreach activities
• Monitor marketing performance and identify opportunities for improvement
• Contribute ideas to increase brand awareness and generate customer traffic

Sales & Customer Service

• Greet and assist customers in person, by phone, and electronically
• Learn customer needs and recommend products that align with their goals and budget
• Generate estimates, prepare quotes, process orders, and collect payments
• Build and maintain relationships with contractors, designers, property managers, and referral partners
• Enter and manage customer information within the CRM system
• Coordinate project schedules and communicate with installation teams
• Track orders and ensure materials arrive on schedule
• Maintain attractive showroom displays and organized workspaces
• Assist with special projects and operational improvements as needed

What We Are Looking For

• Strong customer service and relationship-building skills
• Previous sales, marketing, retail, or customer service experience preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and social media platforms
• Knowledge of digital marketing tools is a plus
• Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills
• Self-motivated with strong problem-solving abilities
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field preferred
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to lift and move product samples and stand for extended periods as needed
